assuming your hostname is quelquechose, make the first line in your
/etc/hosts file read

127.0.0.1 localhost quelquechose

martin;              (greetings from the heart of the sun.)
  \____ echo mailto: !#^."<*>"|tr "<*> mailto:"; net@madduck
