Thanks.  However, sticking my disk in, and doing a

mount -t vfat /dev/hdd1 /zip

gets me

hdd: The drive reports both 100663296 and 100646912 bytes as its capacity
 hdd: hdd4
mount: mount point /zip does not exist

any more help?  Thanks,
