networking windows and linux

"apt-get install task-samba"
then edit /etc/samba/smb.conf (it is easy)
and that`s it. You can connect to windows shares using smbclient 
"//windowsboxname/share -I [windows machine ip]"
use -I only if you don`t have a windows machine ip in /etc/hosts.
