apt-get dist-upgrade -f giving some odd error when trying to remove gdm
hi,
i typed in, apt-get dist-upgrade -f
it downloads all the files like normal,
but for them to install it had to remove a package called gdm...
this is what it said when it tried to remove it:
Removing gdm ...
dpkg: error processing gdm (--remove):
subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
gdm
anyone know how to fix this or atleast tell me how to get rid of gdm so i
can successfully dist-upgrade..
