Configure the network interface in /etc/network/interfaces. See
manpage interfaces(5) for the syntax.


I think that I miss something.
Is rtl8139.o module for eth0 configured within /etc/network/interfaces?

iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inte static
  address 192.168.66.1
  netmask 255.255.255.0
