CardBus PC Card: 3c575-TX -- module creation ?

Dear all,

my network card -- a 3c575-TX -- gets on the one hand correctly
recognized by the cardmgr

  Jun 21 11:16:11 uccellina cardmgr[16005]: \
      socket 0: 3Com 3c575-TX Fast EtherLink XL

but on the other hand it gets not initialized correctly.

/etc/pcmcia/config.O then says:

[...]
device "3c575_cb"
  class "network" module "cb_enabler", "3c575_cb"
[...]

#
card "3Com 3c575-TX Fast EtherLink XL"
  manfid 0x0101, 0x5057
  bind "3c575_cb"
[...]

But neither output is seen in the log files (something like modprobe)
nor can I find the appropriate modules by hand for 3c575_cb.

So, my simple question: does any one know how to get this card up and
running under Linux 2.4.5 with cardmgr version 3.1.22 ?

Any help would be enormously appreciated!
