Hi folks! Recently, I set up a new webserver on potato (apache 1.3.9-13.2). Unfortunately, since I moved my webpage to that server I'm unable to use user authentication. Whatever I tried, I just get a auth failed. Password-file is available, readable for the server (same for directory), created with htpasswd and the directives used in access.conf are <Location /> AuthType basic AuthName "Description" AuthUserFile /path/to/file Requires valid-user </Location> Any hints? -- Tschoe, Get my gpg-public-key here Jens http://gecius.de/gpg-key.txt
