Are you using IE6 beta or have had the IE6 beta installed at any point?

A bug in IE6 beta would cause outlook express to blank out 
subject lines from text messages from non MS email clients.  

Otherwise there is always a few messages posted to every list without 
a subject.  I see 8 for this month sofar.
