libc6 missing in woody?

I've just tried upgrading from "stable" to "testing". I added the
following to my /etc/apt/sources.list ...

deb http://ftp.au.debian.org/pub/debian/ testing main contrib non-free
  deb http://ftp.au.debian.org/pub/debian/ testing/non-US main contrib non-free

However, I can't seem to find the libc6 package. I'm trying to install a
bunch of packages that require a recent libc (2.2.2+), but dselect can't
find one.

Taking a look around in http://ftp.au.debian.org/pub/debian/dists/testing/,
I can't see any sign of a libc6*.deb package. In "potato" it's in
"main/binary-i386/base/" ... is it somewhere different in "woody:?

('Scuse me if this is a stupid question ... I'm a Debian/debian-user
newbie.)
