packaging hell
Hey people. So, could someone explain this?
g++ won't install because:
g++: Depends: libstdc++2.10-dev (>= 1:2.95.2-10) but it is not going to be
installed
It would be _really_ nice if it explained _why_ it's not going to be
installed, BTW.
So, I try to install it.
libstdc++2.10-dev: Depends: libc6-dev but it is not going to be installed
and again,
Sorry, libc6-dev is already the newest version
What?? Make up your mind!
pmerd071:~# dpkg -l "libc6*" | grep ^i
ii libc6 2.2.2-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries and Timezone
ii libc6-dev 2.2.2-3 GNU C Library: Development Libraries and Hea
And there they are.
Help? Please?
Mike
