2 problems with pppconfig



i have Debian 2.1 and i run pppconfig. Strangely my CDROM is read. From the
ps command:

2nd problem: after pppconfig I type pon but can't connect. below is output

i have a internal modem (not a winmodem) and can connect in Win95 (to send
