How boot scripts?

I want to do the following things during boot up:
  1. insmod -f <a modem module>
  2. setfont </path/to/consolefont/>
    I Understand that I have to write a script. Okay, written. The script
	 executes fine. Now where do I put the script, and how do I make
	 it run during bootup?
