Hello World, I have problems setting up a working diald. It is started up at boot time and when a request is coming, diald starts the (standard [of course the phone number is changed) connect script. But the connection is up only a few seconds and then goes down again. In /var/log/messages, I can see: Apr 29 21:55:37 shannara diald[1104]: start tap0: SIOCSIFMETRIC: Operation not supported Apr 29 21:55:37 shannara diald[1104]: start tap0: SIOCDELRT: No such process Apr 29 21:55:40 shannara diald[1104]: Trigger: udp 172.16.0.5/32769 212.35.35.35/53 Apr 29 21:55:40 shannara diald[1104]: Calling site 172.16.0.254 Apr 29 21:56:14 shannara diald[1104]: Connected to site 172.16.0.254 Apr 29 21:56:14 shannara diald[1104]: Running pppd (pid = 1113). Apr 29 21:57:34 shannara diald[1104]: Diald is dying with code 0 The option file I use is from a working ppp connection, the defaults file is attached (otherwise this mail gets too big) How can I fix this? A second question: Is there any possibility to check which service/daemon/request makes diald to dial? Thank you very much for your help.
