The X maintainer recently said (on either debian-devel or debian-user)
to file a grave bug report against any package uploaded to Debian
compiled against the newer version of X, as he has not released it in
Debian yet.
First check that no bug report already exists. In the case of
ssh-askpass-gnome, it is #94663. It was submitted 8 days ago.
