As above. I am stuck. Can connect to ISP, but Netscape on Panel will not start, and I can't figure how to sign in to ISP in a console. With KDE & another linux flavor, kppp works and Netscape starts (no problem); so I do not think it is a hardware issue. Is Netscape giving you an error, or is it just not starting? If it is just not starting, are you logged into X as root? you can not run Netscape as root. As for getting a consol on your ISP's box...you have to have telnet or ssh installed. I recommend ssh as it is secure, and you are not transmitting your ISP login via clear text. Once you run "pon", wait a little bit and see if you can ping your isp. once that is done, you can run ssh to get into your isp, or log into X with a normal user account and run Netscape to web surf.
Hope this helps, Jeff
