Actually, the master PIC handles IRQ0 to IRQ7, and the slave handles IRQ8 to
IRQ15.  The physical bus pin that was labelled as IRQ2 on the PC-XT was
rerouted to the second IRQ on the slave PIC (IRQ9) on newer motherboards.
