Dear All

I have got Debian 2.2r2 Which I have been trying to get it installed which I
have got it installed in text mode but it refuses to get it installed the
X11 going any ideas my card is a SiS6326 and my Monitor is a Samsung
SyncMaster 550b.

Sis6326 8MB card
I put in 8192kb in the memory  question

Monitor settings hoz is 30-70 vert is 50-160 refresh rates max lines 1024
this below is in my monitor manual

640 x 480 hoz is 37-44
                 vert is 60-75

800 x 600 hoz is 47-54
                 vert is 75-85

1024 x 768 hoz is 60-69
                   vert is 75-85

I have tried to get it going with xf86config after set up as it failed on
set up to write to file.
/etc/X11/xf86config file was not created
X11TransSocketunix connect:can't connect:errno=111

So all I have got is text mode and it will not  set up the server for the
graphics

I would be most grateful for this as I would like to drop my suse linux and
use the DEBIAN full time
