"xinerama" is one of several extensions to the X protocol.  See the
Xserver man page for more detail.

To enable this in you X session, add the option to your configuration as
follows:

    $ startx <client options> -- +xinerama <server options>

man startx for more information.

I don't know how you'd specifiy this in a managed ([xwgk]dm) startup.
