Hi. I'm curious why my Debian systems always answers getdomainname() with "(none)". Actually, one of the FreeBSD machines I use responds with "", but I'm still curious why it doesn't work. It looks like the dnsdomainname only uses getdomainname() if you ask about NIS. Both glibc and the hostname source seem to agree on this. What am I missing, or is the documentation just bogus?
