Here you are telling pppd to call chat with /etc/chatscripts/ipr, not with
/etc/chatscripts/provider.   What does /etc/chatscripts/ipr look like?  And
why are you doing this?

Looks normal enough, but this is not the script that is getting fed to chat
when you do 'pon provider'.

We still need to see the output of plog.
