One way is using sudo without adding users into dip. The problem with
adding user into dip is that you give him/her ability to run pppd with
any configs and options he/her wishes (pon is just a wrapper for
pppd). With sudo you can give some users rights to run some commands
with dip privileges without adding them into dip group.
