Please help!

Which file I have to edit, so that the network becomes started on every boot
time automatically?
Under Debian 2.2rev2 ist no /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 or /etc/rc.d/rc.local which I
could edit (ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.10 ...).
