Not sure.  The authenticating proxy I was stuck behind for much of the
past month didn't do much for running apt-get though.  Tried doing
things like using a 'user:pass@url' in junkbuster forwardfile, etc.,
didn't work.  Had unfettered access at other times, so I didn't fight it
too hard.
