Important Package Not Found In Sid!?!

I am trying to do a new installation of sid (a.k.a unstable).  I selected the packages I wanted using dselect and a number of the gnome packages I selected (including gnome-panel, gnome-core, gnome-session and gnome-terminal) were dependant upon the package libgnomeui33.  There is a package called libgnomeui32, but not 33.  I went to #debian and did /msg apt find libgnomeui33 and apt said that "package appears to exist, but could not retrieve info about it".

What is going on here???

any suggestions would be appreciated.
