first line of that file should be
$TTL 86400
(or whatever your TTL is)
the next line should be
@ IN SOA poulenc.herts.counterfactual.org. terry.counterfactual.org (
i think the @ is the most important part though. i would take out the
comments
at the top of the file just incase, although it shouldn't matter.
