Just if somebody has a fresh installation and if you were so kind to send
me the results of ls -l /var and ls -l /var/log

Just to see the correct ownership of /var/log and /var/log/*

Of course this from a local anonymous machine.. **I am not attempting to
violate your security** JUST WANT TO FIX MINE..
