Did you have any version of Netscape installed before ?? If so, "mv"
your existing .netscape/ dir to .netscape.saved/ and try it again. It
could be a problem with your existing preferences.
If this works, copy your bookmarks.html, cookies file, etc into the new
directory.
Just confirmed this with Netscape's KB... ;-)
