Has this changed, or is anyone > aware of any work on this? large files are supported on 64 bit archectures, such as the alpha or ultrasparc. for 32 bit archetectures if you have kernel 2.4 and glibc 2.2 compiled with 2.4 kernel headers you will have large file support.
