dpkg problem

Hi... I have installed abook with overriding his libc6 2.1.94 dependency,
but now when i try to install any other program i get an error about the unmet 
dependency of the abook package... so I'm stuck there. In a man page I'he read
that you can mark a package as HOLD so that is is not managed by dpkg, that's 
what I need!!! but I can't find how to mark the package.....

Any Idea?
