'No spool file found' with printtool
hi, i'm trying to get my HP deskjet 810C working using printtool. i
configured it, then tried to print an ASCII and a PostScript test page.
in both cases, a page was printed which said only: "No spool file found."
any ideas as to what could be going on?
here is some information that might be useful:
[tralfamadore][mark ~]$ cat /etc/printcap
# /etc/printcap: printer capability database. See printcap(5).
# You can use the filter entries df, tf, cf, gf etc. for
# your own filters. See /etc/filter.ps, /etc/filter.pcl and
# the printcap(5) manual page for further details.
