Are you sure?

romana:~/$ file /usr/sbin/useradd 
/usr/sbin/useradd: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, Alpha (unofficial), version 1,
dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped

(Probably say something else on your system, but you get the idea ;-)
