I think there is something funny going on here . I did not recieve a copy of your mail . Could you please repost. It may be that I have messed up the settings of my email client ? I am new to the unix world. But I am earnestly interested in understanding the cause of irq timeouts and would have certainly responded to your mail if I had seen it . Also please change the subject and save me the embarrasment if this is permissible by mailing list ethics.
