On the latest woody upgrade, a window (console-based :)) shows up saying
that /etc/X11/Xserver is no longer used. That /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config
should be used instead...

As for the file not appearing in any package, my guess goes to the file
being created by the installation scripts.. But I really don't know...

I have "console" on my machine... Yes, I start X with startx.

And there must exist some machines used as servers where root is the only
one who should be able to run X (because of administration tools - even if I
don't use any X-based).

So, console and rootonly are usable. "anybody" goes for the rest of the
situations...
