I'm using X4 with the old xserver-svga package, which is still in woody,
and still semi-supported. I am trying to get the new X server working,
but even copying over my mode line didn't help -- X seems to think it
knows what my lcd panel is capable of, and seems to get it wrong.
Next step for me is probably reading the X source and tracking down some
of its messages about this, but I don't know when I'll get around to it.
