XF86Config wierdness
Can anyone explain to me whay changing:
Subsection "Display"
Depth 16
Modes "640x480" "800x600" "512x384"
EndSubsection
With:
Subsection "Display"
Depth 16
Modes "800x600" "640x480" "512x384"
EndSubsection
In my /etc/X11/XF86Config file causes me to not be able to get the monitor to
synch to the 800x600 res? If I ise the first form and use ]CTRL\+ to shift to
the higher res, all is well. If I use the second form, the monitor will not
synch to the 800x600, even if I switch thruough all 3 resolutinons.
