Actually, I deleted > /etc/printcap and rebuilt it via magicfilter and it looks ok now but still > doesn't work. here is what i do: - make sure you have parport, parport_pc, and lp in your kernel. - make sure you have all the suggested programs that the filter suggests.. recently magicfilter didn't work to me so now i use apsfilter. i like it more. that's about all i know.
