I got the above error message to cease and desist by - on a hunch - removing
the line '/usr/lib/moziila' from /etc/ld.so.conf and re-running ldconfig. I
don't know why this works. First, a listing of that dir, then ldd of that
libjavaplugin_oji.so file:

robert:~# ls /usr/lib/mozilla/
chrome libgtkembedmoz.so libmsgbaseutil.so plugins
component.reg libgtksuperwin.so libnullplugin.so regExport
components libgtkxtbin.so libprotocol.so regchrome
defaults libjsdom.so libxpcom.so regxpcom
dtd libjsj.so libxpistub.so res
icons liblber40.so mozilla run-mozilla.sh
libcmt.so libldap40.so mozilla-bin searchplugins
libgkgfx.so libmozjs.so mozilla.message

I don't the connection between the two, but there must be one somewhere; keep
in mind this has only been an issue since updating to woody last night.

Comments?, rants?, rebukes?, praise?, offers of venture capital? <g>
