lpr broken by woody package

I wanted to use woody's rpm and apt-get upgraded my libc.  Now lpr is
no longer working.

How do I get it back?

I have tried magicfilterconfig but although the file is spooled,
connection to /dev/lp1 is refused.  I have also tried /dev/lp0 without
success.
