hi,

yes, /target came from the rescue disk.

# /target/usr/bin/apt-get check
/target/usr/bin/apt-get: error in loading shared libraries
libapt-pkg.so.2.7: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

do you recommend a re-install? (the first part of the tread, for those who haven't
seen it, is that i can't boot because i forgot to run lilo after making a new kernel.
the error message (after "umcompressing linux") is that the system "ran out of input
data.")

thx.
