Thanks, Jens, I'm sure we all agree with you there, but I don't think that's the
reason here. I'm using an external ISDN modem, to be exact a "ZyXel omni.net 128k
ISDN TA modem". I get the feeling that any special handling of ISDN cards won't be
of much help to me.

Is this the case with my setup? Or should I just pretend I'm using an ordinary "AT
command" serial port modem, that just so happens to be running at 128k, instead of
the usual 56k? That's how I'm running it under 'doze and OS/2.
