Re: More X questions.....
If you copy a RedHat XF86Config file, remove the line
FontPath "unix/:-1"
and replace with
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/cyrillic:unscaled"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi:unscaled"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi:unscaled"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/cyrillic"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi"
RH uses an X Font Server, Debian doesn't (at least potato doesn't). Other
than that there are no distro specific idism's.
