ddt-server... Should I?
Greetings,
I don't know about anyone else, but I have come to rely on dyndns.org.
Since they were hit with a lighting storm recently, and there seems to be no
hope of getting them back until Monday, I went exploring my options.
I came across the ddt-server/client packages! The only problem here is
that they are woody, and I am running several potato boxen. I wouldn't
normally even think twice about it, but I see a problem. The woody packages
are based on postgresql 7, and I am using (however limited) imp/horde which
use postgresql 6.5(?). I am almost to the point, that I would be willing to
dump imp/horde in favor of ddt, but I'd rather not.
So my requests are... anyone using it (ddt)? will postgresql 7 screw up my
imp/horde (according to debian-release, the transition from 6.5 to 7 isn't
what it should be)? is there a better alternative?
Inquiring minds want to know...
Thanks,
Brooks
