Depends on what you're using, apt-get or dpkg, but the solution is to
give them both on the command line, eg.,

dpkg -i g++2.95.2-12.deb libstdc++2.1-dev.deb

or

apt-get install g++2.95.2-12 libstdc++2.1-dev
