Could you show us your /etc/ppp/options, or other appropriate file?  And
show us what your Win95 settings are?  

The settings I can think of that would most likely fix problems, that
you might have left out of your options file, would be
'ipcp-accept-remote', and 'ms-dns' settings.  Those would be appropriate
for a typical Win95 dialin.  'ms-dns' is necessary if you're Win95 is
set to get its DNS addresses from the server, which is the default.

Don't give up; it can be done, and be extremely dependable.
