Re: System lost one of its network interfaces]



Any thoughts on how to diagnose whether the problem is with the motherboard?  
Both the CD and HDD are brand new but the mobo is a couple a few years old.

Could be a harddrive failure (either media or electronics), especially
if the samba messages boil down to accessing hda.  Do you backup the
drives regularly?
