Years and years ago, there were circuits available to convert CGA
output to the television (both using an rf modulator or by operating on
the tele and injecting the signals directly into the inputs of the rgb
amplifiers from memory).

The problem is that these days, the resolution and bandwidth of your
standard svga far surpasses that of your tele. For example, if your in
America your using NTSC (Never The Same Colour ;) which has far fewer
lines per screen has a lower refresh rate and uses interlacing where
as your computer usually has say >768 lines non interlaced. When hdtv
becomes popular, this may change.

Don't know if you can by a converter these days that forgoes the quality
just so you can display the signal on a bigger screen. There are units
for overhead projectors though.
