Re: free zip utility, anyone?

I wrote in an earlier letter:

I have unsuccessfully searched some file archives for a free zip
utility that would let me extract pkzip files. Is there such a
thing, or is the zip algorithm patented or something?

Stupid question. "apt-get install unzip" solved it.
I used dselect and looked for a zip utility on my Slink r3 cd 1 (didn't know 2 cd:s were needed to get other than "main" at the time I did that CD, that was before installing debian:-). Somehow I tend to forget that this Slink Cd doesn't hold everything, when I'm looking for programs. (The other file archives I searched was www.download.com and ftp.sunet.se)
