I use one called gcr (I think), which includes a deb at it's home page (but last I looked, wasn't included in the distribution). It's in python, so uses python regexps to identify the bits to colour. Attached is the theme file that I use. Put it in ~/.Eterm/xconsole, and call the Eterm with "--theme xconsole" (you'll probably have to modify the positioning depending on the size of your screen).
