When management is shoving environmental regulations down your throat,
I figured that shutting our server down during company `off' hours was
not a bad idea.

The TFT monitor is off whenever I'm not sitting at the machine, which
is most of the day.  CRTs?  They won't even let us buy those anymore.

I'm talking one shutdown/boot cycle a day.  Your average PC goes thru
quite a few more I would say.  Ever seen `You have to reboot before
these changes take effect' messages?  ;-)
