[*] rpm to deb

hello everybody:

i saw a litter form this list, it said there are some tools can conver the rpm pakage to deb pakage. but 
can it work well? and where can i find it? i have some redhat,turbo cds, so i really have a lot of rpm pakage.
 I want to use them, if pussible.
